The company was incorporated on 30th March, 2005 with the main object of establishing infrastructure facility for leather and allied industries located in District Unnao. Initially the Company has undertaken Common Hazardous Waste Disposal Facility at Leather Technology Park, Banthar, Unnao. This project has been sanctioned by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India under Industrial Infrastructure Upgradation Scheme 2003. The project has been partly completed and is in operation since October 2008 for about 50 member industries who are getting environment friendly facility of Secured Landfill.

SUMMARY OF PROJECT COMPLIANCE OF SPV WITH REQUIREMENTS OF IIUS GUIDELINES

Total Project Cost as per revised sanction letter of GOI,DoIPP,MOC & Industry Rs.1434 Lakh out of this as per scheme of IIUS of GOI,DoIPP SPV finally approved IIUS grant is Rs.932 Lakh and 502 lakh is industrial contribution for both the components of CHWDF Banthar & CETP both in district of Unnao. Recently final installment of IIUS grant has been released amounting to approx. Rs 233 lakh for CETP component of 2.35 MLD at UPSIDC Ind. Area Sire-II Unnao within the premises of operational old CETP of 2.15 MLD.
Expected Means of Finance as per conceptual scheme of proposed project under IIUS submitted by UPSIDC through IL&FS.
Note: It should be noted that SPV was also sanctioned a project of Common Raw Hides Storage and Management Centre which was dropped by SPV due to expected law & order problems.
  • Rs. 932 Lakh from DoIPP under IIUS as per revised sanction letter
  • No contribution of committed state government grant could be received from UPSIDC as per their commitment letter dated 6-1-05.
  • Industry contributed 502 lakh as per final approval of DIPP.
